Outfit- February 23, 2009

I put this on and was pleased :) I just got an invite to join Lookbook today, so this is my first outfit on there as well! I love all the lacey things that are going to be huge this coming spring, so I'm trying to enjoy them early on in the last few weeks of winter by putting my own twist on it.

Wearing: Urban Outfitters cream top, black high-waisted pencil skirt, black lace tights (I got these at Claire's for a $1! What a steal), black belt, vintage necklace, and black peeptoe wedges.

Mr. Mizrahi Makes Me Happy for Spring!

Mmm, Polyvore anyone? I decided to make one entirely dedicated to my love of Spring styles and one of my favorite designers, Isaac Mizrahi. I love his clean, simple lines. His designs are timeless, and will never be out of style. Everyone needs at least one Isaac piece in their wardrobe to be truly fashion forward, in my opinion. Enjoy, and feel free to comment!-L

For All You Etsy Lovers Out There!

My mom has been really successful lately selling her crocheted scarves and hats that she's designed herself. I decided to post her link up, so you can see for yourselves! If you decide to purchase an item, mention my blog and you'll get an extra treat with your order :)

Style Profile: Adam Levine

My most favorite man in the music industry deserves a little credit, right? Hm, I thought so. Out of all the other wonderful men in Hollywood, I believe Mr. Levine not only posesses a great persona, but also a sharp sense of street style. He mixes tough leather and studs with classic button downs and casual jeans to pull together an effortlessly cool look. I also love how he pairs structured jackets with interesting scarves, as well :) He's great at layering!

A Minty Obsession?

Okay, okay so as many of my friends know, I'm really weird about staying healthy and eating right. I'm constantly drinking tea and tons of water. I'm a sucker for any beverage in cool packaging, basically. Hah! I was at the local market, and stumbled upon the drink sent from heaven to Earth- Metromint water. It's cool, great for you, and comes in a sleek bottle.

Check it out, and buy a case! You won't be sorry :) http://www.metromint.com/

Recent Outfit & New Finds.

Yesterday was a good day. It was nice outside, and I got to see my boyfriend. What could be better? Anyhow, I was on Lookbook and found some inspiration on there for this outfit :)

Wore: Darker wash Old Navy straight leg jeans, black v-neck tee, brown knit UO vest, tan sloucy beret my mom made (Check her stuff out on Etsy! Look up preppypeach), vintage cameo necklace, and my beloved messenger bag.

I also found this great necklace when shopping recently :) And the best part? It was cost me all of $1! I think it's adorable, and I love wearing it.

Any comments? Let me know :)

The Much Needed Introduction, Oh Yes.

Hi there! I'm Lindsay, and I've put off creating a blog for far too long. I think this will be a fun way to communicate with other people from all over that enjoy the same things that I do and share the same interests. Anyway, I'm currently laying in bed like a lazy butt, not knowing what to wear today. It's really sunny for a February day, which is a good thing. I'm turning 18 in a week or so; I cannot wait. Hopefully when you visit this blog, you'll feel at home and will get to know me better. I created this page in hopes of sharing my love for fashion, photography, current issues, and yummy tea. Look forward to me posting a ton of outfits, recent purchases, style obsessions, and more. Take a look into my world, you might be interested :)
